Levitra (Vardenafil) is the second erectile dysfunction drug approved by the FDA.
It works similarly with Viagra – effective after 30 minutes of intake and lasts
for 4-5 hours. One can take Levitra with or without meal but only once a day.
Levitra is safe to use but may have side effects, the most common are stuffy nose,
headache and flushing. In rare instances, it is reported to cause sudden decrease of
vision in one or both eyes and sudden decrease in hearing. Patients taking certain
medications like ritonavir, saquinavir, indinavir, atazanavir, itraconazole,
ketoconazole, clarithromycin and erythromycin, lower dosage of LEVITRA is recommended;
also, the time between doses may need to be extended.
